What “Sold Out” Actually Means in Dubai Off-Plan
It is a statement about inventory, not about quality, timing or what you should do next. Here is how to read it.

“Sold out” appears on Dubai project pages constantly, including two of ours. It is worth being precise about what it does and does not claim, because it is one of the few phrases in this market that is simultaneously true and easy to misread.
What It Claims
That the developer has no unsold units left in that project at that moment. Nothing else. It is a statement about a developer's own inventory on a particular day.
What It Does Not Claim
It does not mean the project is finished. Two of our projects are sold out and neither has been handed over — Floareá Vista in Discovery Gardens and Floareá Grandé in Arjan are both under construction, and every image of them on this site is a computer render. Selling the last unit and finishing the work are separate events, often years apart.
It does not mean nothing is available. Units bought off-plan get resold, and a resale on the open market is a different transaction with a different price, a different seller and a developer NOC in the middle of it.
And it is not evidence that a project is good. Fast sales tell you about pricing, timing and how hard a launch was marketed. They do not tell you about a specification, a completion date, or what a service charge will be in year three.
Why We Keep the Pages Up
A sold-out project page has no sales function at all. We keep them published because the record is the point: the unit mix and the documents are all still there for anyone comparing us against what we said. A developer that quietly unpublishes finished or sold-out projects is a developer whose record you cannot reconstruct.
Our own numbers, since they are the test of this: six projects launched, 1,087 homes between them. One is delivered. Two are sold out and under construction. Three are selling. And 92 homes sit in a plot that has not broken ground, which is why the launched figure and the pipeline figure are different numbers and are published as two.
